Mars to the South Node in Capricorn in the Ninth
OK, here it is, the one that's been giving me the horrors since I first realized it was going to happen.
I've been living in Silver City full time since 2012 after living in New York for 49 years. Didn't quite make the half-century. When I lived in New York the NYC Marathon went past my front windows and I always used to have a party. No marathons in Silver and nothing goes past my windows except Walmart Delivery and the UPS truck, and as I 'm on a dead-end (off a dead-end) all they do is turn around and go back the way they came, so I started having a New Year's Day Open House with the doors opening at 2 p.m. and people staying as long as they wanted to.
That was all fine till Covid put an end to it, and then in November 2024 I got a DWI, in December had to have a device I couldn't use installed in my car and had a PA who wouldn't order the anti-depressant I'd been on since February 2002 and that took care of New Year's Day 2025 and the rest of the year as well.
I think this is the most lucid post I've ever made, apart from the two other blogs I've had when I was totally absorbed by astrology. They still exist and one day soon I hope to post the links to show that once upon a time I was able to write quite well, something I hope to do again as this year unfolds. Right now I have my beloved 17-year-old surrogate grandchild staying with me and about 20 people will be at the door in five and a half hours, so this will do for now. Cross your fingers for me please.
January 2 report:
If you did, thank you. If you didn't, it worked anyway. Several cancellations, some no-shows and a couple of won't come insides but a good gathering, many happy people, everyone gone by 4:30 and me and Sirjana in bed by six.
Most significant occurrence/event: Masses and masses of food, most of it to be thrown away this morning.
