Mercury Opposed to Moon's Node in Three
This was today, but going back to yesterday it probably wasn't a good idea to join my neighbours for all the fish you can eat. I knew someone else was going to be there and I didn't think through how awkward his presence was going to be. I can't say any more than that even though the chances of anyone involved ever seeing this are less than minimal.
So today Mercury was on my natal south node in Capricorn in the ninth, and lo and behold, B texted me asking for my expert advice (no kidding) in where to begin with de-cluttering. We've talked about this a lot in the past as I'm the Queen of Throwing Things Out and she's the exact opposite, and as I know how fraught it is for her to part with anything I said I'd stop by and give her a free consultation on how to begin the process.
(In my dreams I would love to have a job helping people declutter but of course have never done anything about it, and the "free consultation" was intended as and was taken as a joke.)
First though I returned an Inter-Library Loan book by Ricky Jay and picked up another Inter-Library Loan biography of the poet James Schyler, someone who came to my attention last summer and interested me as most of his poetry was written when he was institutionalized for mental problems.
When I got to B's she asked me where I thought she should start - paperwork or clothes - and I went for it and suggested the iMac I'd persuaded her to buy 15 years ago, before I realized how completely technically challenged she was, that's been sitting on a desk in her bedroom the whole time, completely unused for probably five years and with nothing left on its hard drive.
The iMac is now in the back of my car and I'll take it to the landfill at some point next week when I take a load of my own stuff. Not the result I expected but one I'm very pleased with.
Does any of that have anything to do with Mercury opposing my north node in Cancer in three? No idea, but B no longer has to see every day something she's been wanting to get rid of for years.
