Jupiter Sextile Jupiter and Sun on the Midheaven
It doesn't matter what the transits are - all I want to do is stay in bed. I suppose it's a plus to say I'm reading a book and not watching radical left-wing lunatics on YouTube.
This was yesterday, and as far as action goes I did leave out a pile of New Yorker magazines for someone to pick up and I did manage to get myself to meet a friend in the CVS parking lot at 10a.m. as arranged to hand over the cake pan she left behind after the New Year Day's get-together. I also dropped off two bags of trash at a friend's house as I used to do in the olden days, and then it was back home to get straight back into bed and go on re-reading Bonfire of the Vanities, one of my favorite books ever.
And that was it.
Well, not quite. Mid-afternoon I roused myself and took the shower I was going to take in the morning and made myself a chicken pot pie in the new little oven, using the top and bottom heat AND the convection oven, which made a difference to the bottom crust. Not enough - it needs more than 60 minutes, but it's a start. AND I did laundry.
Did I do Duolingo? No.
Did I do anything about the burst 100 foot stainless steel hose that happened because I forgot it's winter and I'm supposed to cover up the outside faucet? Other than start going up and down to the well house and turning the water on and off, nope.
I do wonder how long this will go on, or rather how long I will let this go on.
